This one day training event is aimed at all people who come into contact with children, young people and adults. It will bring you up-to-date on all relevant legislation and guidance:

Course content

  • Key procedures, legislation and guidance on safeguarding children and adults
  • Safeguarding roles and responsibilities within the 'context of 'Working Together' guidelines
  • Responding to concerns about vulnerable children and adults
  • The perspectives of service users and service providers

Learning Outcomes

By completing the training event participant will have a clear understanding of safeguarding people and multi-agency working and know how to best deliver effective 'safeguarding' services for children, young people and adults. Participants will also be fulfilling statutory requirements that your knowledge and training on safeguarding children and adults is up-to-date.
